Eunice E. Creamer
Eunice E. Creamer, 86, of Wayne, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2019 at Hillcrest Care Center in Laurel.
Services will be held Monday, Feb. 25 at 10:30 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Wayne. The Rev. Teresa Bartlett will officiate. Visitation will be held Sunday, Feb. 24 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Hasemann Funeral Home of Wayne with family present. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Wayne.
Memorials may be directed to Eunice’s family for later designation.

Eunice Elaine (Piere) Creamer, the daughter of Clarence and Cora Valentine (French) Piere, was born April 25, 1932 on the family farm near Macy. Eunice had cancer in her early teens but survived due to her father’s perseverance and her doctor. She attended Wayne State College and taught country school near Macy for one year. Eunice then moved to Wayne and worked for Hoemann Well. She excelled in selling Tupperware; earning a car and trips to Florida and Indianapolis. Eunice was asked to work with Clarence Kuhn at Kuhn’s Ladies Store, which she loved. In 1989, Eunice worked as an interior designer for Jack Tomrdle at Kuhn’s Carpet and Drapery. She purchased the business with Warren Creamer in 1991, and served area customers for 10 years. Eunice married Warren on April 21, 1993, at Vermillion, S.D. She was a loving wife, devoted mother and wonderful cook.
Survivors include her husband, Warren Creamer of Wayne; sons, Lance Corbit of Yankton, S.D. and Dr. Christopher and Joanna Corbit of Charleston, S.C.; daughter, Amy (Creamer) and Ray Rutland of Norfolk; grandchildren, Alexandrea, Audra, Addison, Brittany, Candyce, Connor, Isabella, Carson, and Brixton; one great-granddaughter, Oliva; nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Lily.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Cora; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Jeraldine Piere; sister and brother-in-law, Imogene and Paul John Fredericksen; and in-laws, Duane and Verna Mae Creamer.
