Faye Mann, 89, of Wayne, died Thursday, June 20, 2019 in River Falls, Wis.
Services will be held Friday, June 28 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Winside. The Rev. Jeff Warner will officiate. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 27 from 5. - 7 p.m. at Hasemann Funeral Home in Wayne with family present. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Wayne.
Memorials may be directed to the Mann family for later designation.

Faye Ellen Mann was born April 7, 1930 to Frederick Beckman and Laurine (McIntosh) Beckman near Laurel. She became a child of God through baptism as an infant. She graduated from Wayne High School and attended Wayne State College where she received her certificate to teach. She taught in area country schools until she met and married Frederick H Mann on Aug. 27, 1950 at United Presbyterian Church in Wayne. Their marriage was blessed with four children - Layne, Lila, Kenley and Keri.Faye was a farmer and homemaker on the family farm west of Wayne. She was active in church and community activities. She taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School at Grace Lutheran in Wayne and at St. Paul Lutheran in Winside. She was an active member of Ladies Aide and while at Grace, an active member of Grace Duo Club which supported the International Lutheran Laymen’s League. Faye was a member of Merry Mixers Ladies Club for several years. She and Fred were active square dancers in their earlier years.
As a supporting parent of School District #51 she was active in Nebraska School Improvement Association for many years. She and Fred volunteered for the National Park Service at Voyageurs National Park. She was active in Lions’ Club. After retirement from farming she enjoyed traveling with her husband and going to football games. Faye taught piano in her home for several years. Her passions were her faith, family, Nebraska Cornhuskers, teaching, farming, horses and fighting for the rights of the unborn. Faye was very active in Nebraska Right to Life and served on the National Right to Life Committee.
Survivors include her children, Layne and Dee (Gribble) Mann of Windsor, Colo., Lila (Mann) Kuch of Farmington, N.M., Kenley and Connie (Woods) Mann of River Falls, Wis. and Michael and Keri (Mann) Friesenegger of Elizabeth, Colo.; grandchildren, Jesse and Alecia (Mann) Babiuch, Kellen Mann, Ruth Mann, Jeremiah Mann, Rebecca Mann, Rachel Mann, Michael Friesenegger and Brian Friesenegger; great-grandchildren, Noah Babiuch, Azalia Babiuch and Caleb Babiuch; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick, in 2016; parents, Fred and Laurine Beckman; one brother, Russell Beckman; sister-in-law, Helen Beckman; sister, Lois Schlines; brothers-in-law, Lloyd Dunklau and Clarence Schlines; sister, Joann Ostrander; brother-in-law, Kenneth Ostrander; nephew, Duane Beckman; and great niece, Melanie Strathman.
Pallbearers will be Kellen Mann, Jeremiah Mann, Jesse Babiuch, Brian Friesenegger, Michael Friesenegger and Jacob Mann.
