Jan Halleen, 83, of Carroll, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2018 at Careage Campus of Care in Wayne.
Private family services will be held at a later date in Colorado Springs, Colo.
There is no visitation.

Jan Caroline Halleen was born March 9, 1935 in Carroll to Leonard and Alice (Harmeier) Halleen. She graduated from Carroll High School and attended Wayne State College for two years. She lived in Colorado Springs, working for Farmers Insurance Group for many years. Prior to her retirement, she worked at the Colorado Springs Airport for National Car Rental for several years. Jan played softball in Colorado Springs. Her team was followed throughout Colorado. She loved the Denver Broncos, Nebraska Huskers, and going gambling with her sister, Arlene. Jan was a true friend and a good person to everyone she met.
She is survived by her sister, Arlene Leiting; two nephews and their families, Doug Leiting (Derrick and Mallory, Danielle (Luke) and Deanna (Zach); Rick (Joan) Leiting, Christina (Beau) Rittel, Heather (Hayden) Pinder; and a niece, Debbie Leiting, all of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and many great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Bobbie; and a brother-in-law, Don Leiting.
