According to a Wayne County alert, the Village of Winside is experiencing a natural gas outage for several hours. According to the alert, a natural gas line was struck, prompting the Village to go without natural gas for an estimated three to four hours on Monday around 3:30 p.m. */
  At approximately 1:30 p.m. on Monday (Nov. 25) the Wayne Volunteer Fire Department responded to a report of a field and corn stalk bales on fire. The fire was seven miles south and approximately one and one-half mile west of Wayne. No other information is available at this time.
