Ronald Edward Lueders
Ronald Edward Lueders, 90, died Wednesday, April 10, 2019.
A Celebration of Ron's life will be Saturday April 20 at 11 a.m. at Roeders Mortuary, 108th and Maple Street in Omaha with John Collicott officiating.
Internment will be at the Omaha National Cemetary, 14250 Shram Road at a later date.
Cremation is under the direction of Roeder Mortuary.
Ronald Edward Lueders was born June 1,1928 to George and Ethyl Lueders in Thurston County. He graduated from Wakefield High School in 1947. Ron was an Army Korean war veteran and he served faithfully at Avery Presbeterian Church of Bellevue. He married Lois Kraninger in 1956. He was a charter member of the Outdoor Unlimited Gun Club. Ron loved to hunt and fish and took fishing trips to Canada. Ron was a kind father figure to so many. He enjoyed teaching several nephews to hunt and fish. Ron married Frances Holt on March 26,1977. Ron was proud to have been shop supervisor and Lead welder, working for MUD for 34 years. He retired in 1990.
He is survived by three children, Rhonda and David Wetzel of Fort Calhoun, Brenda and Brett Schubert of Olathe, Kan. and Linda and Jim Tibbets of Dufur, Ore.; a stepdaughter, Denise and Scott Schuck of Harvard; 10 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother, older brother, older sister and youngest brother and his wife, Francis.
