Harder to play in the Nebraska Cup
Both the Nebraska Golf Association and the Nebraska PGA Section announced their line-ups for the 47th Nebraska Cup Matches to be played July 26 at Wild Horse Golf Club in Gothenburg.
The event annually pits the state’s best amateur golfers against the state’s top professionals in both Four-Ball and Singles matches. The Nebraska PGA leads the series 26-20, after the PGA members won 45-27 last year at Yankee Hill Country Club.
Among the Nebraska PGA team is Troy Harder of Wayne Country Club, who is one of four seniors on the Nebraska team.
The battle for the Nebraska Cup begins with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start for the morning Four-Ball Matches. Pairings for the morning session will be selected before the tournament.
